5 Sexy Beach Reads for the Summer

If you are looking for sexy beach reads, you have come to the right place today! I absolutely love reading, and some of my favourite books to read are romance novels. I never picked up this genre until my early thirties and once I dived in, I dived in deep. I really love the genre and have devoured hundreds of romance novels at this point—everything from historical romance to erotica and while some were obviously much better than others, there was certainly a lot of romances that were just sexy and out of this world and make for the perfect beach read.

Because who doesn’t envision themselves lying the beach, big sun hat on head, cool drink by your side, with a book to lose yourself in your hands? And a sexy read for the beach is absolutely the kind of book you want to read. So here at ten sexy beach reads I think you ought devour this summer between dips in the water.

The Girl from Summer Hill by Jude Deveraux

I read this novel a while back, and I actually picked it up on a whim. It sounded like a fun, possibly silly read, but instead turned out to be a really awesome romance. I remember loving every page, from the hilarious opening chapter right up until the end. A spoof of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, this novel was a lot of fun, and as bright and sparkling as Austen’s own novel. So, if you are like me and a fan of P&P, then this is a sexy beach you cannot miss.

Seduced by the Highlander by Paula Quinn

When it comes to romance, I do love me a highlander romance. I love medevieal settings. And the nice thing about this novel was there was a lot of wooing and thus, it was something of a slower burn than a lot of highlander romances tend to be. It might be not light and fluffy, but it certainly is a romance worthy of losing yourself in, and definitely not one you’d regretting bringing to the beach. This is one sexy beach read for sure.

Exquisite by Ella Frank

This is definitely a fun and sexy beach read. The couple don’t like each other in the beginning, but there is a ton of sexual tension and plenty of banter which keeps you grinning from ear to ear. A strong, sassy heroine and a hero that rises to her strength makes for a sizzling read. A very sizzling, and very sexy read, one that might make you head into the water before the heat of the sun does. Definitely a sexy beach read.

Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas

This is an amazing novel. Lisa Kleypas is one of my favourite authors when it comes to the romance genre, and this novel was simply delicious. Great characters, a bit of magic, witty scenes and a smouldering hero. You couldn’t exactly ask more for a beach read but you get all sorts of heart stopping moments because the romantic element is just so romantic. Enjoy!

An English Bride in Scotland by Lynsay Sands

Light, funny and with a plot that isn’t predictable, I really loved this book. The characters were loveable, in fact they were wonderful and you’ll just read this book with a smile on your face. And you’ll not be disappointed with the level of sizzle. An easy, breezy and sexy beach read you won’t regret picking up.

Happy Reading!

Honestly, looking back over my romance reads as I wrote this post really demonstrated to me what books were stand out reads. These are definitely five that stand out in my memory for various reasons, and that I think can be great reads for a variety of readers. They might not be the newest publications, but they will not disappoint in my opinion. So happy reading to you and enjoy the sizzle in these sexy beach reads.

It’s Friday! How many of you are just grateful for this day? Because you don’t have to work tomorrow, because you can catch up on sleep or clean your house? I think many of us are grateful out of pure exhaustion, which is understandable. But do take the time to be mindful this weekend. Ask yourself, how does your body feel? How are you feeling emotionally? And take the time to do what you need to do for YOU. Squeeze in that time for self care—an extra nap, a bath, some time to read, or a walk in the park. I’m going to indulge in some nostalgic outings with family. What self care are you practicing this weekend? #tidbitsofcare #selfcaresunday #selfcaresaturday #selfcareispriority #selfcareaccount #selfcareblogger #selfcareishealthcare♥️ #lifestyleblog #weekendsareforselfcare
Mommy life might drive me crazy. I have ordered the @lovevery kits since Baby J was born. The latest box just arrived. I was gone one hour and Baby J has hidden/list the puzzle piece. I’ve looked everywhere and cannot find it. Can anyone explain why toddlers do this?? 🤪 #tidbitsofcare #mommylife #earlychildhooddevelopment #toddlers #mommyblog #lifestlyeblog #bloggerlife
I was listening to news on the Royal Family and learned about this book because the Princess of Wales is very invested in the early years. As a teacher who loves kindergarten, so am I and as a new mom especially. This is honestly so good that I think all parents should read it. It teaches us about a child’s brain and how to use that knowledge to guide our parenting to raise kids that are emotionally healthy. I’m so glad I found out about this book! #princessofwales #tidbitsofcare #parentinghelp #kidsmatter #mentalhealth #selfregulationtools #selfregulationforkids
Today has been a wonderful, quiet day—after all the cleaning was done that is. I cherish quiet days. It’s nice to just melt into them and enjoy the sense of peace that comes with them. I love to read, or crochet on quiet days, or watch the baby as he plays. Who else loves quiet days? #tidbitsofcare #peacefulday #selfcaresunday🌸 #quietdayathome #lifestyleblogger #blog #selfcareblog #timetoreflect🙏
I really want to see green things and flowers again. We had a mild winter until March hit, then snow and wind and rain. I know it’ll be a while till I see green and springs blooms, but who says I can’t indulge in spring like things? Or delight in the longer days? It’s spring in my mind today. When life gets too blah, your imagination can really lift your spirits! Do you imagine warmer days, upcoming vacations or yummy dinners? #tidbitsofcare #selfcareblog #bloggerlife #springiscoming #spring2023☀️ #springtime🌸 #lifestyleblogger
Yesterday I ran errands and did some housework but I also got on me time and got my nails done. I’ve been doing more light, neutral shades lately. They just feel more me and more elegant. But if I’m in the mood, I splash into colour too! It’s all about just being myself. Because it’s okay to just be me ☺️ #tidbitsofcare #personalgrowth #selflove #selflovemoments #blogger #lifestyleblogging #bloggers #selfcareblog #bloggerlife #bloggerstyle
