It’s Blogtober, a time of year when bloggers and vloggers share content every day for an entire month! I decided not to participate this year, but I did get nominated for the tag by the wonderful Dating Bitch, and since I love fall I thought this was the perfect post for me to write. I mean, why not? It’s fun and all about the fall. I also did the blogtober tag last year. So let’s get started!
The Blogtober Tag Q&A
What is your favourite scent?
I love florals, so roses and lavender for me! When it come to fall time though, I love the way the leaves smell after they’ve been on the ground a bit. I wish they had that in a candle!
Pumpkin pie or apple pie?
You’re asking me to chose between pies? I can’t decide! I mean, I’m gluten free now so really, I shouldn’t eat any pie but if I could I’d have a slice of each. Plus pecan. Yum.
What is one autumn tradition of yours?
Celebrating Thanksgiving with family! I don’t really have other fall traditions. Now that I have a baby, I’ll be able to do more with Halloween, but usually it’s just Thanksgiving and a scary movie or two.
What are you most excited about in the fall?
I suppose I am most excited about the weather–the cooler temps, the changing colour palette of Mother Nature, and wearing boots! Oh, and Halloween. I love to read spooky books during this time of year, and watch spooky movies. This fall, I’ve already read two spooky books and I’m starting a third!

Favourite Scary Movie?
Oh, gosh, well I used to watch Sleepy Hollow every Halloween, but I haven’t done that in years now. And the movie is not that scary. I think my favourite scary movie now is The Conjuring.
Favourite Halloween Candy?
Coffee Crisp and Kit Kat. Hard to chose just between them.
Favourite Pumpkin Spice Flavoured Thing?
Pumpkin pie of course! I mean, it must have pumpkin spice in it?… Anyway, a latte will do in a pinch.
What is your Warmest Fall Memory?
A few years ago, my husband and I went on a walk. It was close to Halloween, and it wasn’t dark out yet. By accident, my husband led along a route that was a longer a walk than he thought it would be and it got dark out. And it was really cool walking out on a fall night, the smell of the crisp leaves around us and the spooky decorations of the houses popping out of the darkness. We live in an old neighbourhood with older houses, so it was really atmospheric.
What is your Favourite Must Have for Autumn?
Tea, books, boots, cozy sweaters. All of these are favourites and must haves for me when it comes to fall!

Glad you enjoyed the post! Can’t wait to see yours 🥰
This was a lot of fun to read! I like hearing about other people’s traditions and favorites for the seasons. I like to read spooky books and watch movies for Hallowen too…though not too spooky as I am just branching out into the scary genres!
